I am so excited to share this beautiful Lake Tahoe intimate wedding with you. It was a true honor to photograph my dear friend Megan and the love of her life Joseph this past October. We captured their Big Sur engagement in September of 2022, and her bridal and boudoir portraits in a few weeks prior to her wedding.

Even though I primarily photograph in The Salinas Valley and the Monterey Bay Area, I had a blast photographing these two in Lake Tahoe. Their story is the sweetest. They met on the dating app BUMBLE . They just happened to live less than a mile away from each other. They started messaging, had their first date at a park with a cups of hot chocolate. They hit it off immediately. Joseph thought Megan was so beautiful and had such a sweet and loving heart . Megan loved that Joseph was easy to talk to, he made her laugh and feel comfortable. They bonded over country music.

Joseph and Megan's proposal was intimate and sweet. He proposed at the spot where they had their first actual date out in Santa Cruz. Megans said the proposal was unexpected and she was not expecting a ring that day because he told her he had yet to find the perfect one for her.

Megan and Joseph knew they wanted to get married in Lake Tahoe because they wanted an intimate and memorable ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest at a location they both love.
